Poland Aims at ‘World Record’ for Military Spending in 2025 – Defense Minister
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Poland aims to set a “world record” for military spending in 2025 by allocating 4.7% of its GDP to defense, according to Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz. This increase in military budgeting follows the country’s previous earmarking of 4.1% of GDP in the 2024 budget, with intentions to reach nearly 5% in the near future.
Poland intends to surpass its own military spending records, setting a global benchmark in defense investment come 2025.
