The Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB) made exciting advancements during the Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conference “SOFEX 2024” by signing multiple agreements with local and international companies. Rateb Abu Ragheb, JODDB’s Director of Sales and Business Strategy, highlighted a key partnership with DayCraft to establish a factory dedicated to defense equipment and anti-drone systems in Jordan’s industrial zone.
Additionally, collaborations with companies like Saudi company ERAF and Jordan Water Company (Miyahuna) were signed to enhance testing capabilities, improve water leakage detection using advanced technologies, and develop electronic systems through research and reverse engineering with companies like BESOMI.
These agreements are pivotal in strengthening cooperation between national institutions and international defense companies, facilitating knowledge exchange and technology transfer to enhance Jordan’s defense capabilities. The signings took place during SOFEX 2024, held from September 3-5 in Aqaba.
