Remembering the Spirit of September: A Tribute to Pakistan’s Armed Forces
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid homage to the bravery and sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces on Defence Day, September 6. He highlighted the valor and resilience displayed by the armed forces during India’s aggression in 1965, emphasizing their ongoing commitment to readiness and professionalism.
On this significant day, the nation commemorates the Defense & Martyrs Day, honoring the heroes who defended the motherland with unwavering courage. Despite facing a numerically superior enemy, the armed forces emerged victorious on all fronts, showcasing their strength and dedication.
While advocating for dialogue and cooperation, the prime minister stressed the importance of resolving the Jammu & Kashmir dispute and combating terrorism. He called for unity in upholding the Spirit of September and working towards a prosperous Pakistan.
Standing in solidarity with Palestine, Pakistan reiterated its support for the Palestinian cause and urged the international community to address the ongoing atrocities. As the nation remembers the martyrs and their families, the prime minister urged collective action to defend and uplift Pakistan with the same spirit of resilience.
