Ayman Safadi Meets with German Foreign Minister to Discuss Israeli War on Gaza
Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi met with the German Foreign Affairs Minister, Annalena Baerbock, to discuss efforts to end the Israeli war on Gaza. Safadi highlighted the disastrous consequences of Israeli military operations in the West Bank and called for international action to deter Israeli aggression. The top diplomats also addressed the Syrian refugee crisis, with Safadi thanking Germany for their support but warning of declining international aid for refugees.
In a press conference, Safadi condemned the Israeli government for exacerbating the humanitarian crisis and violating international law. He stressed the need to stop the war in Gaza and the West Bank, protect holy sites, and work towards a two-state solution for lasting peace.
Safadi and Baerbock also discussed the exchange deal and Germany’s support for Jordan’s economy and aid for Gaza and Syrian refugees. Safadi emphasized the importance of international cooperation to address the ongoing conflict and humanitarian needs in the region.
