Hezbollah Pager Explosions Rock Lebanon
Recently, Lebanon witnessed a series of explosions caused by hand-held radios used by Hezbollah, injuring hundreds of people. The initial casualty toll reported one death and over 100 injuries, with the state news agency initially reporting three fatalities. Hezbollah claimed responsibility for attacking Israeli positions with rockets, marking a new escalation in the conflict.
The explosions were linked to 5,000 pagers imported by Hezbollah that were found to have been rigged with explosives by Israel’s Mossad spy agency. These explosions resulted in 12 deaths and nearly 3,000 injuries, including Hezbollah fighters and Iran’s ambassador to Beirut.
Hezbollah has vowed to retaliate against Israel, further raising tensions in the region. The explosions have overwhelmed hospitals in Hezbollah strongholds, with many casualties being treated for severe injuries.
Hezbollah Vows to Punish Israel
Hezbollah has vowed to punish Israel for the attacks, holding them accountable for the “criminal aggression.” The group continues to support Gaza while preparing to avenge the recent blasts.
Hospitals Overwhelmed
The sudden influx of casualties has inundated hospitals in Lebanon, particularly in Hezbollah strongholds. Lufthansa and Air France have suspended flights to the region due to the attacks.
