Iranian President Condemns Israel’s Actions in Lebanon
President Masoud Pezeshkian criticized Israel’s pager detonations in Lebanon, calling it a disgrace for the regime’s Western supporters, particularly the United States.
During a Cabinet meeting in Tehran, Pezeshkian emphasized the inhumane agenda pursued by Western backers of Israel, highlighting the lack of principles guiding their actions.
He condemned the pager explosions on September 17 as evidence of the decline of humanity in the West and their reluctance to seek a ceasefire in Gaza.
“This event once again showed that although the Western states and Americans claim they want a ceasefire, they practically offer full support for blind crimes, killings and assassinations.”
President Pezeshkian urged Muslim nations to unite in solidarity against Israeli aggression to protect Palestinians and the Muslim world from further atrocities.
The recent pager explosions in Lebanon resulted in casualties and prompted the Lebanese government to hold Israel accountable through a complaint to the United Nations.
Hezbollah has vowed to deliver ‘just punishment’ to Israel for the attack.
