Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu emphasized the proactive approach of the IDF in addressing threats, rather than waiting to respond to attacks. As the IDF targeted Hezbollah in Lebanon, Netanyahu urged civilians in Southern Lebanon to evacuate for their safety.
Netanyahu reiterated Israel’s policy of preempting threats wherever and whenever they arise. He highlighted the actions taken to eliminate terrorists and destroy missiles, while also extending a hand for peace.
During security consultations with Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and IDF Chief-of-Staff Herzi Halevi, Netanyahu asserted that Israel would respond forcefully to any attempts to harm the country.

Netanyahu emphasized the ongoing efforts to shift the security balance in the region by destroying missiles aimed at Israeli cities. He called on Israeli citizens to adhere to safety directives and stand united in the face of challenges.
