Positive Economic Growth in Azerbaijan Under President Aliyev’s Leadership
President Ilham Aliyev recently highlighted the positive economic indicators in Azerbaijan, stating that the economy grew by over 4 percent in the first eight months of the year. He emphasized a significant growth of 7 percent in the non-oil sector. Speaking at the first session of the seventh convocation of the Milli Majlis, Aliyev also noted the increase in minimum wage and minimum pension over the last five years.
Aliyev shared that the minimum wage in Azerbaijan has risen by 2.7 times and the minimum pension by 2.5 times. He further announced plans to increase both again from the following year. This news showcases President Aliyev’s commitment to improving the standards of living for the people of Azerbaijan and driving economic growth across various sectors.
