Reflecting on the year 5784, it will be remembered as a time of tragedy for the Jewish people. The atrocities of October 7, the displacement of families, and the abandonment by the international community are etched in our memories. Despite efforts to protect citizens, Israel is unjustly accused of war crimes. Antisemitism prevails in organizations like the UN, perpetuating lies about Zionism. However, there is hope as Israelis show resilience and unity in the face of adversity.
Despite the challenges, voices of truth and solidarity emerge, countering the narrative of hate. As we enter 5785, there is optimism for a better future. The pain of the past year remains, but the Jewish people continue to pursue justice and truth. Let us embrace the blessings of the new year with hope for a brighter tomorrow.
