BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 25. Azerbaijani-made weapons known as “Turan-1” are making their debut at the 5th Anniversary Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition ADEX-2024. Developed by local engineers and manufactured in 2024, this weapon weighs 3.6 kg, has a firing range of 1000 meters, and a magazine capacity of 30 rounds. Despite undergoing testing, it has not been deployed yet.
The ADEX exhibition, alongside the 14th International Exhibition of Equipment for Internal Security, Safety, and Rescue “Securex Caspian,” is ongoing at Baku Expo Center from September 24-26. ADEX, the largest defense industry event in the region, first took place in 2014, with a growing list of exhibitors and sectors represented each year.
Over its 10-year history, ADEX has attracted companies from over 50 countries and around 200 official delegations. The exhibition has welcomed more than 30,000 guests, showcasing the latest advancements in defense technology and innovation.
