Gunshots were fired at a Democratic Party office in Arizona used by US Vice-President Kamala Harris’ campaign, causing damage but no injuries, as reported by US authorities. Tempe police are investigating the incident as a property crime since the office was empty when the shots were fired. It was also revealed that a pellet or BB gun was used to shoot rounds at the same office a week prior, according to the Arizona Republic.
Footage from Phoenix TV stations showed bullet holes in the door and windows of the office. In response, Sean McEnerney, the Arizona Democratic Party coordinated campaign manager, expressed gratitude to the police for their prompt response and emphasized the importance of no injuries or presence during the incident.
Additionally, a video preview titled “Donald Trump safe after apparent assassination attempt at Florida golf course” was shared, highlighting the impact of political tensions on safety and security concerns.
