Recent Hezbollah Rocket Attacks on Northern Israel
The IDF recently reported that multiple rockets were launched from Lebanon into northern Israel, with one landing in a home in Safed, causing no casualties. Hezbollah claimed responsibility for the attacks, targeting civilian areas. In response, the IDF conducted strikes on Hezbollah’s terror sites and weapons depots.
Amid the escalating tensions, leaflets were scattered in the Mount Lebanon region, urging residents to evacuate within hours. The attacks triggered sirens in major cities like Tel Aviv, with rockets intercepted by air defenses. A drone strike was reported in Israel, with no injuries.
This recent violence follows days of intense fighting between Israel and Hezbollah, prompting an emergency UN Security Council meeting. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delayed his departure to attend the meeting, focusing on ongoing operations in Lebanon.
