Hezbollah Strikes Mossad Headquarters in Retaliation
Hezbollah, the Lebanese resistance movement, targeted the headquarters of the Israeli spy agency Mossad with a Qader 1 ballistic missile as a response to recent provocations. The strike, announced on Wednesday, aimed to retaliate against the assassination of top Hezbollah commanders and the explosions of pagers in Lebanon.
The missile attack triggered sirens in Tel Aviv and caused disruptions in the area, forcing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to postpone his trip to New York. This marks the first time Hezbollah has used a long-range missile in the conflict with Israel, escalating tensions further.
Hezbollah has vowed to continue its retaliatory attacks as long as Israel persists in its aggression. Recent Israeli airstrikes in Lebanon resulted in numerous casualties, adding fuel to the ongoing conflict between the two sides.
The cycle of violence between Hezbollah and Israel shows no signs of abating, with both parties engaging in tit-for-tat actions that endanger civilian lives and regional stability.
