Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State encouraged Nigerians to pray for the country and seek its betterment amid ongoing challenges. He led an Independence Day Walk to commemorate Nigeria’s 64th anniversary, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts in nation-building.
Makinde expressed optimism about Nigeria’s future but emphasized the need for citizens to contribute to its progress. He acknowledged that challenges exist but highlighted the importance of prayer and divine guidance for leaders to make the right decisions.
The governor called on Nigerians to continue to support the country and strive to make it a better place. He commended the resilience of Nigerians and urged everyone to play their part in nation-building.
As part of the Independence Day celebration, Makinde led a “Prayer Walk” to pray for the nation’s well-being. He reiterated the importance of hope and effort in building a better Nigeria for all.
