Support and Confidence in President Tinubu’s Administration
Ex-agitators from the Niger Delta region, beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, have expressed their confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration and distanced themselves from the upcoming nationwide protest scheduled for October 1. They believe that President Tinubu is committed to fixing the nation’s economy and should be given the necessary support and time to do so.
The group, under the Third Phase of the PAP, made this declaration in a statement signed by General Andrew Joel Azazi and General Emma Satu. They emphasized that President Tinubu’s leadership is crucial in addressing the economic challenges facing the country and creating job opportunities for the youth in the Niger Delta region.
High Chief Yusuf Eregbene, former chairman of the Delta State Pilgrimages Welfare Board, also showed solidarity with the ex-agitators’ decision, highlighting President Tinubu’s efforts to improve the economy and provide employment opportunities.
Overall, the ex-agitators and supporters of President Tinubu are optimistic about the future of the country under his administration and are committed to contributing positively to its growth and development.
