Renowned Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik has embarked on a 15-day visit to Pakistan, starting with his arrival in Islamabad, as reported by ARY News.
Upon landing at Islamabad International Airport, Dr Naik was warmly welcomed by officials from the Ministry of Religious Affairs, including Syed Dr Atta ur Rehman, Rana Mashood, and Parliamentary Secretary Religious Affairs Shamsher Ali Mazari.
The visit of Zakir Naik and Sheikh Faruk Naik to Pakistan comes as an invitation from the government. The schedule for Dr. Zakir Naik’s visit includes speaking engagements in Karachi on October 5-6, Lahore on October 12-13, and Islamabad on October 19-20.
Notably, Dr. Zakir Naik had expressed his desire to visit Pakistan in a podcast with a Pakistani YouTuber, stating that despite the ease of visiting the country due to his popularity, he had postponed the trip in the past due to the principle of Shariat.
