US entrepreneurs and executives showed keen interest in exploring business prospects in Cyprus during a lunch meeting with President Nikos Christodoulides in New York. Christodoulides, who attended the UN General Assembly, seized the opportunity to promote Cyprus as an investment destination, which was well received by US business leaders.
Recognizing the improved international image of Cyprus, the US business community expressed interest in energy, shipping, tourism, finance, services, and infrastructure sectors. Both parties agreed to stay connected for potential collaborations.
The President highlighted his government’s reform initiatives, especially in digitizing key services to enhance investment processes. The positive discussions at the lunch aimed to attract high-quality investments to Cyprus, leveraging strong bilateral relations between the US and Cyprus.
