Iran: ‘If Israel responds, we will hit them a thousand times harder’
Iran launched about 500 missiles at Israel on October 1, causing Israel, Jordan, and Iraq to close their airspace. Explosions were heard in the Tel Aviv area. The Israeli Foreign Ministry called the attack unprecedented.
The strike was in response to the elimination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and IRGC Major General Abbas Nilforoushan. The IRGC warned that if Israel responded, they would retaliate a thousand times harder.
Several rockets hit central and southern Israel, causing damage and casualties. Videos of the missile attack are available here. The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Aerospace Force is responsible for the missile strike.
