Falkland Islands Government: Successful Party Conference Season
The Falkland Islands Government recently concluded a successful run at the UK Party Conferences. Delegates from the Islands attended the Labour Party Conference in Liverpool, the Conservative Party Conference in Birmingham, and the Liberal Democrat Conference in Brighton for the first time.
During the conferences, the Falklands delegation engaged with senior UK politicians, discussing issues important to the Islands. They highlighted the right to self-determination, the diverse culture of the Falklands, and the thriving economy in the South Atlantic.
