Milei welcomes Bukele at Casa Rosada

The leaders had previously met at the UN General Assembly and maintained a close relationship. Bukele’s visit to Argentina included meetings with key political figures and a public appearance at Casa Rosada’s balcony after their private discussions.
Despite controversies surrounding Bukele’s security policies, his efforts in combating crime have been praised. His visit to Buenos Aires signifies a strengthening of ties between El Salvador and Argentina.
