Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reaffirmed that Armenia is prepared to ensure the security of cargo, vehicles, and individuals in its territory if regional connections are unblocked. Pashinyan emphasized the importance of the Crossroads of Peace project during the EEU Intergovernmental Council session in Yerevan, highlighting the project’s aim to enhance trade-economic relations and logistical potential in the region while respecting sovereignty and equality among countries.
Pashinyan dismissed rumors suggesting that Armenia had compromised its sovereignty to allow another country to guarantee security in its territory. He clarified that Armenia remains committed to securing the passage of cargo, vehicles, and persons within its borders. The Prime Minister emphasized that any claims of Armenia relinquishing control over its regional connections are false and do not reflect reality.
