Slovenia Condemns Israel’s Attacks on Lebanon
According to Foreign Affairs of Slovenia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Slovenia recently summoned the Israeli ambassador to express concern over Israel’s attacks on Lebanon. The Slovenian Foreign Minister highlighted the escalating violence in Lebanon, Gaza, and Palestine, comparing the situation to that of Gaza and emphasizing the need for immediate action.
Tanja Fajon, the Slovenian Foreign Minister, condemned the Israeli actions as a violation of international laws and a disregard for the International Court of Justice’s orders to cease the violent occupation. Slovenia, as the current head of the United Nations Security Council, is working to convene an emergency meeting to address the situation in Lebanon.
The Slovenian government has been proactive in responding to the crisis in Gaza, with the Prime Minister even calling for an end to the atrocities against Palestinians and Lebanese during a recent speech at the UN General Assembly.
With a commitment to upholding international laws and promoting peace, Slovenia is taking a strong stance against the ongoing violence in the region.
