Iran Responds to Israeli Aggression with Swift Military Operation
Iran’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Amir Saeid Iravani, issued a strong warning to the international community in response to recent aggressive actions by the Israeli regime. In letters addressed to the UN Secretary General and the President of the Security Council, Iravani condemned Israel’s violation of Iran’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as the assassination of a Hamas leader who was a guest of the Iranian government.
Iravani made it clear that Iran’s response to Israeli aggression will be swift, decisive, and more severe than in the past. The military operation carried out by the Islamic Republic was in accordance with the right to self-defense outlined in the UN Charter. Iravani emphasized that Iran has only targeted military and security installations in response to Israel’s indiscriminate attacks on civilians.
Iran’s strong stance against Israeli aggression comes amid ongoing tensions in the region. The Islamic Republic has called on the UN Security Council to intervene and put an end to Israel’s violations of international law. Iran remains prepared to defend its national security and vital interests, warning of further defensive measures if necessary.
