Iran Condemns Israeli Aggressions in Syria: Urges Global Community for Action
During a recent Security Council session on Syria, Iran’s representative, Iravani, called for the international community to enforce a ceasefire and hold Israel accountable for its “heinous crimes.” Iravani emphasized the need for the UNSC to address Israel’s violations and compel the regime to halt its aggression against Gaza, Lebanon, and Syria.
Iravani condemned Israel’s military strikes in Syria, labeling them as violations of sovereignty and international law. He highlighted the humanitarian crisis in Syria and urged increased support for reconstruction efforts. Iravani also detailed Israel’s attacks on civilian infrastructure, including schools and hospitals, and the targeting of refugees and humanitarian workers.
